Lia Saves the Sea is a piece that helps to educate younger children on environmental stewardship, the importance of animals and the natural world, the importance of standing up for what you believe in, and friendship. Through historically accurate writing, children will also learn a bit about the past and the decade in which the environmental movement got its first big push.
