When the house was quiet and still at night, and his children were sleeping, Stan Colton would sit and compose his feelings and thoughts about watching them grow into adults with morals and values that he was so proud of.

A Landscape Contractor by trade, Stanley also had the gift of writing from a very young age. He has written hundreds of poems, tributes and toasts for a wealth of friends, family and work colleagues. In retirement, he continues to write and is compiling his "gifts" into books that he hopes his family and friends will continue to enjoy for many years to come.
