Recorded March 5, 1969 near Fourth and Beale Streets, Memphis in the home of Furry Lewis. Furry performed with his guitar, in bed, leg off.
Recorded with two Sony C-37 fet condensor microphones on a Crown CX-800 recorder.
Original mastering at Compass Point.
Additional mastering at Art & Son Studio, Paris.
This album was originally released in 1971 on Barclay Records, rereleased in 1974 on Blue Star 80602 and in 1993 on Verve/Polygram Jazz 519 726-2.
This reissue released as part of the "Maison de Blues: Barclay's Masters Series."
