This release is Blechacz's debut recording for Deutsche Grammophon. It was recorded in July 2007 in Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Hamburg-Harburg (Germany). The CD was manufactured and marketed by Universal Music Classical.
The CD and booklet are housed in a jewel case.
On the first page of the booklet is the drawing of Chopin by Eugène Delacroix from 1838 (© Musée du Louvre, Paris). The english translation from the polish liner notes was made by Polish Music Center at the University of Southern California.
The title on spine reads:
Chopin: Complete Preludes | 2 Nocturnes Op. 62
The title on the front cover omits the Nocturnes.
The catalog numbers on the spine, booklet and back cover are followed by the letters GH (each in its own square).
