"Aeolian" is the second half of a recording session that took place between January 2004 and July 2005 at Oceanland, Berlin. The first half of that very session was releases under the title "
Fluxion". Mastered at Tonteknik Studios in September 2005.

The European version of the album comes in a white cardboard slipcase (O-case) with embossed gold print. It also features a data track with a band biography, band and individual member pictures, and a digital version of the album artwork, as well as an AVI clip of "Queen Of the Foodchain"
Track 6 contains samples of an old vinyl recording of "some unknown dude" playing
Frédéric Chopin's "Nocturnes".
Track 8 contains samples of "The Sound Of The Sea" by
Jack de Mello.
Track 9 contains samples of the Choir Of The Monastry Simonos Petras singing "Agni Parthene".
