Previously released by Polydor as CD "Liederbuch" in 1993 with same catalog number and barcode. Tracks are a selection from the double LP Ludwig Hirsch - Liederbuch. Universal website mentions a release for the "Liederbuch"-CD on Feb-29 1988 by Brunswick label which cannot be verified.

Duration of tracks as indicated on the release except for track no. 5 "Die Spur Im Schnee". Booklet lists the durations as 6:22, actual duration is 3:22.
