Track 1-8 recorded in June 2003 in Costa Mesa, California
Tracks 9 to 16 recorded February 2002 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The packaging is a bit confusing. There is no group heard called The Condon Gang, there are two separate groups playing songs performed by Eddie Condon. Neither group is mentioned on the booklet cover, just on the tray card and back page of the booklet.
Listed as a compilation because this CD features two separate bands on different dates, though drummer Hal Smith is a part of both sessions.
