For the first time, a 5.1 surround sound mix and high-resolution audio in 96KHz / 24bit of the entire album by Eddie Kramer and sourced directly from the original multi-track master tapes,

The fully restored documentary At Last... The Beginning: The Making Of Electric Ladyland which documents the creation of Jimi's groundbreaking double album. Include interviews with Chas Chandler, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding as well as fascinating in-the-studio footage introduced by Eddie Kramer.

Originally produced in 1997 as part of the Classic Albums television series, this expanded edition features almost 40 minutes of additional content not seen in the original feature.

Copies intended for the UK market have an extra wrap around cover that goes over the whole of the back and folds up over the bottom part of the front which bears additional labelling to comply with UK video recording requirements. The paper is glued to the back of the hard book back and the detail appears be the same apart from the addition of a BBFC 12 Certificate rating box at the bottom left hand corner. The piece that folds up over the front includes the group name detail plus a BBFC 12 certificate logo on the right hand side. The certification relates to the blu-ray only. US version. Does NOT have the Sony Music logo on the release.
