'Ghost Orchestra' is a piece influenced by classical orchestral music. It was created using 'virtual instruments' via computer with all the sections and parts being entered note by note into a music software program. It was a very long and time consuming process taking many months to create the entire 7 part piece. Composing started in mid 2015 and completed early July 2017.

'Fog Over The Little Ferry' is an electronic piece comprised of 8 guitar synthesizer parts. Although it may sound like a looped piece, it is not. All of the parts were totally played by hand from beginning to end for the entire duration of the piece.

I have always loved long compositions and have a special appreciation for pieces which sustain the same mood and dynamic for their entire duration. This is what I attempted to create with this piece. It is a piece for what I call 'suspended time'. There is no rhythm or pulse and the listener is unaware of how much time has passed, if they can manage to just get lost in the piece. The length and compositional method of the piece also makes it possible for a listener to change his focus on different sections or parts within the music since there are no background or foreground or supporting sections of the multiple instrumental overdubs. All of the sections and parts are both foreground and background depending on where the listener wants to focus their attention at any given moment. This concept is a particular interest of mine and I intend to create these pieces in the future with these characteristics. This piece was recorded in late 2011 and completed early 2012 and this mix was created in mid 2017.
