Originally planned for release on July 31, 2020. A few days before the planned date, this release was withdrawn due to a legal dispute between Monk's estate and his previous label. Some copies found their way into retail at that time anyway. The new release date was set to September 18, 2020 in early September 2020, and the album was generally available by then.
