The full cycle of "Rumi Songs" was commissioned by Tora Augestad with the support of Arts Council Norway, The Norwegian Composers Fund and NOPA (the Norwegian society of composers and lyricists).
It was premiered by Scenekunst Østfold, thanks to the enthusiasm of James Moore and Tor Sørby.
This recording was supported by Fond for Lyd og Bilde.
Trygve Seim plays saxophones chosen and maintained by George Pfister, Berlin, who also manufactures the handmade wooden mouthpieces.
