"The waterwheel takes water and turns, giving it away, weeping" - Jebedoulah Rumi - 13th Century Sufi Mystic & Poet
Aoeria is dynamic rock band from New York with winding twisty riffs, chewy melodies and introspective, nearly spiritual lyrics. Their debut album Waterwheel features 10 diverse songs with loud crashing guitars and soaring melodies to quiet sprinkled acoustic, the band creates it's own palette to paint unique and interesting sonic portraits for a bizarre radio gallery of sorts. The album artwork and companion DVD expand on the visual aspect with strange pictures taken to accent the mood and draw the listener into the world of Aoeria, or to spark the imagination of the listener. Centered in Massapequa, just east of Manhattan, but drawing inspirations from Upstate in Binghamton were some songs were written and South Shore of Long Island were they were developed. The band is completely independent: from the music, recording, and pictures to creating a physical CD & DVD to various web/media creations & communications.

DVD: Waterwheel in 24-bit/48khz PCM audio, approx. 45 mins of rehearsal and outtake recordings, slideshow videos of original photography, hidden videos
