disc 2 notes: It was 1997. I had finished The Forbidden EP. High school pal Kip Koenig asked me to score his indie film How To Make The Cruelest Month and I whole heartedly obliged. So between coming up with themes for the film and creating ideas for the next Idaho release, I whiled away the days up here in my then new Laurel Canyon hide-out. Kip had asked his old friend John Voscamp to act in his movie. John lived in Texas and came out west for the occasion. Voscamp and I had messed around with recording together a few years before and came up with a ridiculous song called Delicious Sandwich, but I had bigger fish to fry with the first Idaho album in '92. So back to '97... I'm waiting for the final cut of Kip's movie and John has days off between shooting. Naturally us two knuckle heads had to do what knuckle heads do....and that's make more ridiculous music for no other reason than to amuse ourselves. So here they are .....10 years rotting away on a hard drive they finally are brought to light. Should I have been doing this the whole time?.......is it the antidote to Idaho?.....who cares. For those of you who dont know it...John's band Peglegasus have been around as long as idaho. So i guess if these 2 bands had a baby it would sound like this :) - Jeff Martin, 2008
