This is the original US issue, which has Superman on the front cover (see photos)
Although the album title listed on the spine is "Illinois", the cover reads, "Sufjan Stevens invites you to: Come on feel the ILLINOISE".
Since the time that Superman was removed from the cover art, two other covers exist. One adds balloons where Superman was, and one has only empty sky. This release is for the cover with balloons, while
Illinois is for the cover with empty sky.
