While the cover of this 2xCD only lists Swans as artist, the CDs themselves read "Swans Children Of God" and "World Of Skin", defining the 2xCD as a combined release of two different artists' projects (originals: Children Of God and The World Of Skin).

Children Of God was recorded Feb.-March 1987 at Sawmills Studio in Goliant, Cornwall, England. Mixed at Guerilla Studios, London, March-April 1987
World Of Skin recorded Oct-Dec 1986, at the following studios in London, England: Worldwide Studios; Chocolate Factory; Blackwing Studios; Konk Studios.

Remastered at Griffin Mastering, Atlanta, GA. 1996/7.
