Recorded at Britannia Row, London, February 1981. Originally released as Always Now on Factory Records (Fact 45) in August 1981.

C1 to C3 recorded at Cargo Studio, Rochdale, September 1979. Originally released as the 7" single Girls Don't Count on Factory Records (Fac 18) in July 1980.
C4 recorded at Cargo Studio, Rochdale. Originally released on the compilation album Hicks From The Sticks in April 1980.
C5 is an outtake from Always Now.
D1 and D2 recorded at Cargo Studio, Rochdale, July 1980. Originally released as the 7" single Charnel Ground / Haunted on Factory Benelux (FAC BN 3-006) in October 1980.
