notes
This "Best Of" collection includes acoustic solo and self-accompanied compositions influenced by Doc Watson, Norman Blake, John Hartford and ONE vocal inspired by Roger Miller (and possibly Popeye). Swamp plays guitar, mandolin fiddle and bass in these tracks - solo or in various combinations of instruments. Many of these recordings were conceived in the 1990's to be released as cassette tape albums. This collection has been digitally re-mastered with only a few tracks retaining some bass distortion. These tracks were included because they are instrumentally excellent.
