This release brings together 3 previous Nigeria 70 Strut releases.
The original LP (previously released as STRUTLP 013) has been remastered and issued in a gatefold sleeve.
The package comes with 3 CDs in plastic wallets.
CD1 with colour insert with track listing for CD1 and CD2, with the same tracks as the 2009 STRUT044CD.
CD3 is a copy of the Nigeria 70 audio documentary, previously issued as STRUTCD 013 CD3.
CD3 is narrated by Wunmi with commentary by the late Nigerian academic "Elder" Steve Rhodes, this one-hour piece is an essential snapshot of the 1970s Lagos scene and the cultural and political context from many of the key players of the time. It includes interviews with Ginger Baker, Fela Kuti, Ebenezer Obey, Segun Bucknor, Joni Haastrup of Monomono and many more.
Only copies bought direct from the Strut webstore were pressed on 180g vinyl.
