Tracks 1, 3, 4 were originally issued in 1975 on the LP "Pathways To Unknown Worlds" (Impulse ASD-9298). Track 2 was intended for release on the same LP but not included. Recorded at Variety Recording Studios, New York City, in 1973.

Tracks 5 to 8 comprise the previously unreleased album "Friendly Love", recorded in early 1973.
