The Mods Are Back In Town
Caught In A Storm
From the front sticker:
- Acid Jazz Records and Modcast founder Eddie Piller's definitive take on the music of the mod revival
- 92 classics, rarities, and under-appreciated gems across a 4 CD Box set
- In depth sleeve note reviewing the history of the scene from Eddie's unique perspective as a label boss, record producer, and ultimately, a fan
- Complete with reproductions of pages from Ed's contemporary scrap books
From the back of the book cover:
Every effort has been made to track down the master recordings. Due to the fact that many of these 40 year old singles were recorded on tiny budgets and pressed in tiny quantities, some masters have been lost. A number of tracks have been carefully re-mastered using original vinyl copies. Consequently, the sound quality in some cases reflects the DIY ethic of the time.
