description
Part 1
Part 2 (start)
Part 2 (conclusion)
Hand numbered fourth edition of 500 copies
Includes 11.75" square double-sided b&w insert with photographs and liner notes
[Back cover]:
Recorded in London by William S. Burroughs.
The recording is undated but would appear to be from 1968.
The tape was originally sent to Brion Gysin in Paris, who left it in the care
of Ramuntcho Matta who then issued the full 62 minute recording in 1998 under
the title Electronic Revolution. It first appeared as a limited edition CD--
William S. Burroughs - Electronic Revolution--with the
first edition of the French magazine Crash.
This recording has remained a lost part of Burroughs' experiments and
investigations into the power of words and uses a combination of the cut-up
technique and tape manipulation.
This edited version of the tape is released under exclusive licence
from William Burroughs Communications.
