Prior to forming “Curtis Cowan & Flyer”, he was a member the musical group, “The Hornets” which covered “The Beatles” and other British Invasion songs. He fronted; “The Notables Show Band”, “The Bowery Boys” and “Frank McCormack and the Country Macs” which was the house band for Vancouver's Arlington Cabaret. During this tenure, he performed in dinner theaters in Saskatchewan before forming Curtis Cowan & Flyer in 2010.
Curtis' influences are “The Beatles”, “Traveling Wilburys”, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens. Paul Simon, Bryan Adams, “Trooper” amongst others, including most classic rock from the 1970's and 1980's.
