-Meryl Mathews
From the fire hydrant capitol of the world, Martin is the real Alice in Wonderland, tap dances in the shower and has been on the stage since the age of two. Since the southern belle has been in the big apple, Martin has been the face for Pepsi, Oprah Magazine, BCBG, Toy’s R Us and Microsoft Martin currently trains with vocal coach Craig Deere(LeAnn Rimes, Ashanti) and has been featured on TBS, and off-Broadway. Leah Martin describes herself as “Sensual in an elegant way, Mystical, and Crazy Free.”
Leah’s songs combine pop/folk/soul/fusion with a dynamic range and strength reminiscent of John Lennon and Norah Jones. In her sound and lyrics, Leah Martin delivers a sweet and honest, but bold, perspective that expresses positive change promoting peace for our Mother Earth and humanity.
Leah Martin’s debut album, Hope…Through the Looking Glass, was inspired from 40 days of growth in India, collaboration with songwriter/musician Meryl Mathews, and countless artists ranging from Hip Hop to violin.
Leah Martin’s mission is to remind people about the Looking Glass, and to spread peace and growth through music.
