Holding It Down: The Veterans' Dreams Project was commissioned and co-produced by Harlem Stage through its WaterWorks program. The project's world premiere performances were at the Harlem Stage Gatehouse from September 19 to 22, 2012. WaterWorks is supported by Time Warner and the National Endowment for the Arts. Patricia McGregor directed the live performance.

This project was made possible in part by generous grants from the Doris Duke Foundation and from the Rockefeller Foundation MAP Fund.
