From liner notes: ...recorded at New York's Philharmonic Hall, part of the Lincoln Center complex, on February 12, 1964. The occasion was a benefit concert for voter registration in Mississippi and Louisiana. The co-sponsors were the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the Congress of Racial Equality and the Student Non-violent Co-ordinating Committee.
Because of the unusual length of the musical portions of the concert, the spoken introduction by Mort Fega is not included on this record.
4 panel digisleeve with 8 page booklet in the right hand pocket with the SACD and four page catalogue insert.
