notes

This is a collection of some of the demo recordings of the band Matrix before they changed their name to Bride. Originally released independently in 1994 as Matrix (51) - 1983-1984.

According to the insert of the original Matrix 1983-1984:
"The songs that appear on this CD are from the Recording of PG-13, Monkey See Monkey Do. The song I Can Fly Now, was cut from the first Bride Record."

Tracks 1 - 8 are from the Matrix demo PG13.
Tracks 9 - 18 are from the Matrix demo Monkey See, Monkey Do.

The Matrix release Silent Madness also has a track called 'Melissa', but that is not this recording. The origin of this version of 'Melissa' is unknown.
