Mercury Salad makes their home in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area of southeast Michigan. With so many excellent venues and creative events in town, they usually perform close to home, but are looking forward to branching out to the regional festival circuit.

In October 2017, Mercury Salad was signed to Detroit-based Assemble Sound's Publishing division.
