2Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (BHS) is known to be the definitive edition of the Hebrew Bible. It is widely regarded as a reliable edition of the Hebrew and Aramaic scriptures and is still the most widely used original-language edition among scholars.

For the first time, the text of the BHS is offered here in a particularly reader-friendly edition. The text-critical apparatus is replaced by a dense network of reading and translation aids at the bottom of each page.
