king up his things and resigning from the State Attorney's Office to join his father's civil law firm. As he's leaving, he tells a colleague that he doesn't want to pursue justice through punishment, but through service to his clients. However, Gabriel will slowly learn that his role is not actually about finding justice for his clients, but placing himself between them and the threats that jeopardize their dreams and way of life. He is a different kind of legal hero, he doesn't have a backstory of hard knocks, tragedy, or foundational trauma.
