5Disaster in the Arctic Circle...In the fallout of Gremlin's attack on Hawaii, the twenty-seven partner corporations that split from Academy City rebrand as the Anti-Academy City Science Guardians and announce they will be holding "Natural Selector," a martial arts tournament in Eastern Europe. By staging the event, the Guardians hope to prove the existence of powers that surpass psychic abilities, thereby destroying the identity of Academy City. With Gremlin's help, their scheme gets underway. Naturally, however, the Guardians' blatant power grab invites a reprisal from Academy City's higher-ups, who send three powerful agents to dismantle the tournament. As each side's forces clash, all hell breaks loose!
