Recorded live at the 5th Cremona Festival, during the International Week of Chamber Music in Naples.

This recording features performances on instruments made by the famous Antonio Stradivari:
"La Primavera" (Spring) features the 1715 Stradivari violin known as "Il Cremonese", once owned by Joseph Joachim and now in the possession of the City of Cremona.
"L'estate" (Summer) features the 1727 Stradivari violin known as the "Ex-Raynier".
"L'autunno" (Autumn) features the 1718 Stradivari violin known as "Firebird".
"L'inverno" (Winter) features the ex Francescatti 1727 Stradivari violin known as the "Hart".
All three of these instruments are (or were at the time) owned by Accardo, who brings the particular qualities of each of the four instruments to full effect in these works.

Cover is a 20-page booklet, providing a background to the Stradivari instruments in 4 languages; English, German, French & Italian.
The booklet has a 4-page heavy-weight card cover in full-color, with gold foil-blocked design. The content is 16-pages gloss art paper, bound with 2 wires. Recorded live at the 5th Cremona Festival, during the International Week of Chamber Music in Naples.
