Packaged in a clear-tray jewel case with a photo-illustrated 28-page booklet that includes credits, notes, and release information.

Recordings were made using a Nagra monaural recorder and one Electrovoice 654 omnidirectional microphone at Alexander Hall, Princeton, New Jersey, in February 1965, and at the Roosevelt, New Jersey, Elementary School, in January, 1966.

Track 23 recorded by Toshi and Dan Seeger at their home ... in February 1965.

Tracks 2, 7 to 9, 17, 20 to 23, and 26 are previously unreleased. I.e., they do not appear on Elizabeth Cotten - Vol. 2: Shake Sugaree or any of its subsequent reissues.
