NOTES

CD comes in a jewelcase with 8-sided booklet.

Tracks 1 to 10 recorded at Brussels Beursschouwburg on 13-14 February 1986. Mobile recording: Mirasound BV Holland. Live mix at ALC Belgium.

Tracks 2 to 7 (mistakenly mentioned as Tracks 1 to 6 in the booklet credits) produced, mixed at Katy Studios, Brussels. Originally released as 'Live In Brussels 02/1986' on Les Disques du Crepuscule (TWI 637). The original album title was to have been Et Voila!

Tracks 8 to 10 (mistakenly mentioned as Tracks 7 to 10 in the booklet credits) (plus the extended intro to track 1) are transfers from the pre-mixed mobile multi-track of the Brussels show on 14 February 1986, but are tracks which were left off the finished album and therefore simply rough monitor mixes. Thanks to Tuur Praet/Sofa.

Track 11 is a sound desk recording from a show at Frejus, France, on 3 August 1987. Thanks to James Nice.

Blaine's original sleevenote reads thus: "If you are readings these liner notes, it is safe to assume that you are holding a copy of my first live record. Let me encourage you to purchase it, if I may. The idea of a live recording has always seemed a bit dubious to me, since truly 'live' performances are enhanced by an irrational telepathic element which is not yet possible to record and reproduce. The best result currently obtainable is a document which should serve to remind the listener of that magical and celebratory atmosphere present at a concert. I sincerely hope that this document will prove enjoyable to you and our efforts will divert an entertain you. Long live live music!"

Honourable mentions: Filip Beernaert, Patrick Mons, Peter Solberg-Larson, Michael Duval, Tuur Praet.
Special thanks to Roland Benelux for Daniel Wang's midi percussion modules.

This record is dedicated to the memories of JJ La Rue (1954-1998) and Martine Jawerbaum (1955-1996).

This CD remastered in 2003 at Lime Tree Studios, Norfolk, UK.
Tracks 2 to 7 (mistakenly mentioned as Tracks 1 to 6 in the booklet credits) released under license from Les Disques du Crepuscule.
