Pre-orders from Gruff Rhys' official webstore include an instant download of the MP3 single American Interior via a link sent via email upon order confirmation.

The LP comes in a thick card gatefold sleeve and is pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Inside the sleeve is a 11" x 11" foldout card insert with Pete Fowler album artwork on the front, a map illustrating "John Evans' journey into the American interior" in the centre and album credits are featured on the back.

New copies have a black sticker on the shrink wrap stating "Gruff Rhys - American Interior - 180g Vinyl/Includes CD album Feinyl 180g/Yn cynnwys fersiwn CD" Limited to just 500 copies, the "American Interior Deluxe Box Set" was only available only through pre-orders from Gruff Rhys' official webstore. All copies came with an art print signed by Gruff Rhys and a web-link for the immediate download of the MP3 single American Interior was sent via email upon order confirmation.

The LP comes in a thick card gatefold sleeve and is pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Inside the sleeve is a 11" x 11" foldout card insert with Pete Fowler album artwork on the front, a map illustrating "John Evans' journey into the American interior" in the centre and album credits are featured on the back.
EP1 is also pressed on heavyweight vinyl, comes in a thick card picture sleeve. The LP and the 12" EP both have plain white inner sleeves.
The CD comes in a plain PVC cover.
An exclusice 12" x 12" Pete Fowler art print is included, which is autographed by Gruff Rhys.
Everything is housed in a black box with American Interior laminated on all four outside edges. Inside the lid of the box is the word "Interior". The bottom of the box contains further artwork of Gruff Rhys.
The box is designed to house EP2 (released 21st July, 2014) and EP3 (released on 3rd November, 2014). Whilst not included with the box set on release day, they are exclusive to those who pre-ordered the box set. EP1 is also exclusive to this box set.
The pre-order also comes with a t-shirt, available in sizes small to extra large.
MP3 files were sent by email to those who ordered this box set. A single track, "American Interior" was sent on 7th May, 2014. EP2 was sent on 21st July, 2014. EP3 was sent out on 3rd November, 2014.

The box set does not have its own over-arching catalogue number. Catalogue number "TS008LP" is printed on the spine and rear sleeve of the vinyl LP. "TS008EP1" is printed on the spine and rear sleeve of the Vinyl 12" EP1.
