Originally issued in June 1979 as a 12" album + free EP - Rather/Rough Trade (Troy One/Rough Two) + (Gear Five/RT Rough 2).

Recorded and mixed at WMRS, Woodbine Street, Leamington Spa, 28-29th December, 1978, 15 & 17th February, 8th, 15-17th April, 1979. "Vertical Slum" recorded at Spaceward Studio, Cambridge, September 14th, 1977. "My Lil' Shoppes" and "Steven Does" recorded July 1977 at 5 Bourton Road, Solihull. Remastered at WSRS, Leamington Spa, 12th November, 2003.

Tracks 15 to 18 are bonus tracks. Enhanced content include a video file for the song, "Midget Submarines".
