This compiles her first LP and the first two singles, all released then under her project name Broken Girl.

Tracks 1 through 12 originally released as the very limited album Broken Girl on Julie Doiron's Sappy Records (with the help of Sub Pop) as SAP009. These tracks were recorded in April, 1995.

Tracks 13 through 16 originally comprised the seven-inch single called Dog Love Part II, which was released on Sappy Records as SAP002. These tracks were recorded between June and September, 1993.

Tracks 17 through 19 originally comprised the seven-inch single called Nora, which was released on Sappy Records as SAP006. they were recorded September, 1994.

Songs 1 to 12 were recorded at Little Bull-horn Prods. (April 26 to 29, 1995) except Soon, Coming Closer (Nov. 1994) and August 10 (Aug. 1993) recorded at Stereo Mountain.

Songs 13 to 16 were recorded and produced in June + September 1993 at Stereo Mountain.

Songs 17 to 19 were recorded at Stereo Mountain, 11/94. This release compiles her first LP and the first two singles, all released then under the project name Broken Girl.
