NOTES
℗ Toxic Pop Music© 1993 Alternative Records
All songs © 1993 Toxic Pop Music.
Tracks 4, 9, 12 are marked as bonus tracks.
4 panel front booklet with credits and notes.
The bulk of these songs were first released under the band name "Urban Edge" on their own label - Urban Edge - Songs From The Hydrogen Jukebox.
Record marketed to both the college rock and, relunctantly, the Christian music scene (as this was not a "CCM" band) and was reviewed in the CMJ Journal (Alternative Records also released material from one of the flagship Christian alternative bands, The 77's). Although this CD was produced by Mitch Easter and the playing and singer are expert, unfortunately the band did not largely break through either the college rock or Christian scenes. At least one member of Two Pound Planet would later join the Christian folk band Life In General. (Jerry Chapman).
Important to note this was released worldwide by Alternative Records with the band name Two Pound Planet which is seen on the spine. A barcode scan brings it up that way, so does google searching. 2LB was used for graphic purposes on the cover and back but was not meant to be the name, and no version of this album is known by this band name.
