The original Odds & Sods album was compiled by John Entwistle and released on September 28, 1974 as Track Records 2406 116 in the UK, and on October 12, 1974 as MCA 2126 in the US. In the UK it reached #10 on the LP charts, and in the US it reached #15.

In the view of the large number of additional tracks on the re-issue of Odds & Sods, the sequence has been changed from the original in order to present the songs in chronological order.

Tracks 2 to 4, 6, 7, 12 to 14, and 19 are previously unreleased.
