Dylan May has been working as a bassist, singer and songwriter in the Omaha, Olympia and Portland areas for the last 20 years. Coming from a folk background, his songwriting reveals the melodic and lyrical center of his roots, though his foremost musical loves are funk and soul. He currently plays with his band The Message in and around Portland, and has just released his debut solo album, "Empty Fields."
