Prepared over six years for the Rē Records 25th Anniversary, this is a many artists collection of specially commissioned re-mixes, re-workings and (mostly) new pieces made from the Art Bears' multi-track masters.

This double CD also contains Art Bears extra tracks:
- Collapse (Track 1-17) is the B-side of the single Art Bears - Rats & Monkeys (Ralph Records),
- All Hail (Track 1-18) from the double-LP Various - Recommended Records Sampler (Recommended Records),
- Rebirth (Track 2-18), previously unreleased and newly completed by Fred Frith and Chris Cutler for this release.
