The Bossa Nova Beatnik band have been playing the New York City area for six years with the same line up. The guys celebrate this with an EP of studio recorded songs from their live show playlist. George Vahamonde lays down the beat on the drums. Tim Stapleton ads color to the beat with his hand percussion. Tim Stapleton also supplies vocals. Michael Bifulco puts just the right spin on these songs with his sought after guitar stylings. Tom Gould is the primary songwriter for the Bossa Nova Beatniks. Tom also plays the bass and sings. The one and only purpose for this music is having fun. It is a lot of fun to play and we hope fun to listen to as well.
