Jan Hendricks grew up as a farm girl in rural Montana. She leaves the farm to start college in the "Big City" of Billings during the Jazz Club Era of the late 1940's. At a party, she meets Lavio Rossano, a dashing, handsome, charming young man who sweeps her off her feet.
