Tracks 3,5,6,8 Euronymous (guitar) Hellhammmer (drums) Grishnackh (bass)
Unfortunately Pelle Ohlin (Dead) was not alive long enough to be featured in all the songs he wrote, some of them are instrumental.
“When it’s cold and when it’s dark the moon can obsess you.
The dark of the freezing moon.â€
“I started to imagine heavy fog lit up by the full moon. This fog oozed up from the place. Drifting woefully in silence to extinguish the lives of the local people, And bring their souls to Lord Satan.â€
“I’ve written the lyrics to all the songs after Deathcrush: ‘Funeral Fog’, ‘Freezing Moon’, ‘Buried by Time and Dust’, and ‘Pagan Fears’. Mostly they deal with how I feel when I wrote them. (...) The most difficult one so far is the one that will be the title track of «De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas».â€
“Jag är inte en människa. Det här är bara en dröm, och snart vaknar jag.â€
“I am not a human being. This is just a dream, and soon I will awake.â€
