The legendary Schnabel Trio and Duo once performed Brahms's entire chamber music for piano and strings. Only a few of their recitals were serendipitously preserved. The booklet contains an appreciation of Schnabel by the eminent pianist Leon Fleischer, who had studied with Schnabel for 10 years.
