Model M was formed in December 1994 founded by lead front-man Terrance. Model M began touring the small venue circuit and eventually they made a name for themselves. They had began to create a following, selling out shows in the process. By 1997 it was easy for them to pack the house with crowds of 200 or more.

In 1999 Model M released their first full length CD THE KILLING GODS containing most of their material from 1996-1999.
