Killing Roots has been a force in the Seattle metal scene as far back as 2000. In the past eight years they have played with bands such as 3 Inches of Blood, Toxic Holocaust, Only Human, Lahar, Into Eternity, Pungent Stench, Hammerfall, Drowned Mary and many, many others.

In 2007 Killing Roots and Black Sheep Records partnered up to release “Black Water Death Grip”, a honed collection of Killing Roots material. “Black Water Death Grip” is a record with no filler, no interludes and no garbage. All straight forward, well played, good sounding metal.
