Brad Yoder's 4th CD release, Someday or Never (2006), picks up where "Used" (2002) left off, featuring more sharp songwriting, engaging arrangements, and musical variety covering folk rock to power pop. Throughout, Brad's thoughtful lyrics and unexpected musical ideas take center stage. While Brad's live performances are almost always acoustic (solo, or duo with Jason Rafalak upright bass), this new CD proves once again that, when called upon, he (with the help of talented musical friends) is more than prepared to rock!
"The album is soncially different from Yoder’s previous record. “Used” was a layered, dense recording, featuring horns and strings. That’s been pared back on “Someday or Never,” and while the album features some experimentation — notably the loops and treatments provided by Soy Sos on the songs “Till the Colors” and “Convenience Store” — it’s mostly a stripped-down effort, with Yoder’s vocals predominant." - Rege Behe, Trib Live, January 18, 2007
