notes

John Collins was a blues, folk and rock singer-songwriter hailing from Northern Minnesota. His skillful fingerpicking, smooth tenor and occasional growling baritone were unforgettable. "Live at the Fargo Town House," recorded sometime in 1988 or 1989, showcases him playing what he loved most: gritty and playful blues songs, accompanied by his soulful voice, skillful guitar playing and honking harmonica work.
