Worn Down Low (2009) features classic country sounds over thumping samples and DJ scratches, combining honky-tonk sounds on top with hip-hop production on the bottom. It consists of several songs in Rench’s trademark Bang and Twang style including the popular “High Friends In Places”, as well as a handful of unique diversions from the usual fare, like the scratch solo showcase “Morricone Close-Up”, the old-timey “God Damn Little Man”, and the anthemic “Up From Low.”
