The booklet contains the complete credits to all the songs and photos by Marc Lavoine.

Track 3 was released twice : the first time in 1985 with acoustic arrangements on his eponymous first album (http://www.discogs.com/Marc-Lavoine-Lavoine/master/95856) and a second time in 1987 with more elaborated & orchestrated arrangements on his second effort (http://www.discogs.com/Marc-Lavoine-Fabriqu%C3%A9/master/95852). This second version was released as a single in edited form. Here it is in full (as on his 1987 album). I labelled this version "Version 45t - Full Version" rather than "1987 Album Version" to unable people to know this is the right version released on single at the time. By the way, the Singles compilation "85.95" (http://www.discogs.com/Marc-Lavoine-8595/master/95848) uses the wrong mix (the 1985 album version).

When "album version" is specified it is because the version released on single at the time was a shorter "edit" of this album version.

When no version is specified it is because the version released as a single at the time was the album version and that is the one found here.

Track 20 is a new song previously unreleased.

This "Best Of" was released at the same time (albeit a few days later) then the "Best Of" called "Les Duos De Marc" (http://www.discogs.com/Marc-Lavoine-Les-Solos-De-Marc/release/4153240). The first half of his career's records are controlled by RCA/BMG (now Sony) and the second half by Mercury/Universal so "Les Solos De Marc" which collects mosty songs controlled by RCA/BMG is released by them and "Les Duos De Marc" which collects mostly songs controlled by Mercury/Universal is released by them.
